Deluxe Telescopic Ladder - Wide, Angled Steps

Deluxe Telescopic Ladder: wide, angled steps for rooftop tents

You climb your tent ladder every night and every morning, often barefoot, sometimes in the rain. The Deluxe Telescopic Ladder has wide 75mm (3in) angled steps that sit flatter under your feet than round rungs, so it's more comfortable and more secure. It's the ladder supplied with the AX27, TX27 and TX27 MAX rooftop tents.

Features

• Nine angled steps, 75mm (3in) wide, at 300mm (11.8in) spacing, so you can set the height to suit your vehicle and uneven ground.
• Each step locks individually as the ladder extends.
• Reach: extends to 2.6m (8'6.4"); collapses to 76cm (83.5cm (32.9in) with the mount plate fitted).
• Working load limit: 150kg (330.7 lb).
• Canvas storage bag included, to keep sand and dirt off the tent and vehicle when it's stowed.

Fitting it to your tent

• When it comes with a tent, the ladder has the mount plate already fitted. A spare ladder bought on its own needs the Ladder Mount Plate (sold separately) on its top step. The plate from our older standard ladder doesn't fit, because the steps are wider.
• The plate hooks onto the double-bolt Ladder Mount Bracket on the tent; our tents come with two, one at the open end and one for either side.
• For wide canopies or rear bars, the Wide Ladder Mount Bracket stands the ladder further out.
