Freestanding 270° awnings wrap shade around the side and rear of your 4WD, ute or wagon, with no poles on the ground. Both of ours use 315gsm acrylic-treated polyester ripstop canvas with a single seam, stainless steel heavy-duty headstocks and B-Tech® Alloy arms, rated to 50km/h freestanding and over 90km/h when poled, guyed and pegged.

270 XT Mk2: 8m², fits racks from 1.1m, 27.8kg, sets up in under 30 seconds. Best for short racks and solo or duo touring.

270 XT MAX Mk2: 12.2m², needs a 1.8m rack, 33.5kg, sets up in under 30 seconds. Best for families and bigger groups who want the most front and side coverage, plus shade round the rear.
Add a full wall kit (the 270 XT Wall Kit or 270 XT MAX Wall Kit) to turn either awning into an enclosed room, or start with a single canvas wall or mesh wall.
