The Bush Company recommends regular cleaning of powder-coated tent surfaces using a mild pH-neutral car wash and treatment with a dedicated powder coat restorer such as Rig Revive at least every six months under general-use conditions.

Where a rooftop tent is regularly used for beach camping, cleaning after each trip is recommended. Equipment subjected to particularly high UV or pollutant exposure may require cleaning and powder coat treatment approximately every three months.
