Moves the Rainfly Pole Clear of a 270° Awning · Left or Right Side · Stainless Steel


When a 270° awning is mounted on the tent with its bracket pointing up, the rainfly's spring steel pole can hit the awning. This adapter raises the pole's mounting point so it clears, with no bending of the pole.


Left (passenger side in Australia) or right (driver's side). Bolts into the Ezi-Slot channels with stainless steel M8 bolts and nyloc nuts.

Spring Rod Adapter: keeps the rainfly pole clear of your awning

On some vehicles, an awning mounted to the tent has to sit with its bracket pointing up. The rainfly's 8mm (0.3in) spring steel pole then runs into the awning. The old workaround was to bend a dog-leg into the pole. The Spring Rod Adapter raises the pole's mounting point instead, so the pole clears the awning and the rainfly sits properly, with nothing bent or modified.

Choose your side

  • Left: passenger side in Australia.
  • Right: driver's side in Australia.

How it fits

  • Bolts into the tent's Ezi-Slot channels at the corner, with the supplied stainless steel M8 bolts and nyloc nuts. No drilling.
  • The rainfly pole slots into the adapter as it would into the tent.
