The Universal Single Canvas Wall adds shade, wind and privacy protection to your awning, one wall at a time.


A 2.4m-high solid wall, 2.3m wide between the outer zips, or 2.5m with the zip-on end sections attached, in 260gsm ±5% acrylic-treated polyester ripstop canvas, with a 600gsm PVC splash skirt, two adjustable aluminium telescopic poles and three pegs. YKK spiral zips on both sides join more walls for a bigger enclosure.


Fits any Bush Company awning (180 XT MAX, 270 XT Mk2 and 270 XT MAX Mk2) and any awning with a Velcro loop strip on its valance.


Weighs 3.4 Kg, and has a 12-month warranty.

Universal Single Canvas Wall: one awning side wall, windbreak or privacy screen

One heavy-duty canvas wall, 2.4m (7'10") high and 2.3m (7'7") wide between the outer zips, or 2.5m (8'2") with the zip-on end sections attached, that fits any Bush Company awning (180 XT MAX, 270 XT Mk2 or 270 XT MAX Mk2) and any awning with a Velcro loop strip on its valance. It's a solid block-out for sun, wind and driving rain, and a lower-cost way to start adding walls before committing to a full kit.

How you'll use it

  • Windbreak: run it along the exposed side of camp when the wind swings round.
  • Sun block-out: hang it on the side the low afternoon sun is coming from and leave the rest of the awning open.
  • Privacy screen: block the view from the next campsite or the track.
  • Build an enclosure: zip several together, or pair it with a mesh wall for canvas on the weather side and airflow on the other.

Because it's a one-size wall rather than one cut for a single awning, it won't fit every awning edge exactly, but you can move it to whichever side you need. As a guide, two walls cover more than half of a 180 XT MAX and three cover all of it, and four walls fully enclose a 270 XT Mk2.

Built for Australian weather

260gsm ±5% (7.7 oz/yd²) acrylic-treated polyester ripstop canvas in The Bush Company's olive green, so rain beads straight off. The 600gsm (17.7 oz/yd²) PVC splash skirt is 400mm (15.7in) deep, wipes clean of mud, sand and salt spray, and stands up to being dragged across the ground. Adjustable pegging eyelets let you set the wall height to suit your vehicle, up to 2.4m (7'10"), and tuck any spare skirt underneath.

Modular and quick to set up

The wall attaches to the awning's genuine Velcro® strip, and the two adjustable aluminium telescopic poles (1.9–2.6m / 6'3"–8'6") fit the built-in holes in the trussed arms, or the webbing loop at the end of a non-trussed arm on Mk2 awnings, to hold it steady. For older models without that loop, a retrofit webbing strap is supplied and can stay on the awning. Three pegs are included.

Full-length YKK spiral zips on both sides let you join more walls. They're made from spiralled polyester and nylon: the softest, smoothest-running zip YKK makes. Each side has a removable zip-on end section, so when the wall sits against your vehicle there's soft fabric, not a zip, against the paint. Unzip it to join a second wall. The whole kit weighs 3.4kg (7.5 lb) and packs, with its poles and pegs, into one heavy-duty canvas bag. 12-month warranty.

I love these walls I have 3 already and will buy another.There great because you can put 1 up or the lot as they easily zip together . If I had my time again I would buy the full wall kit. But that’s just me

Amazing, but missing a piece.

Walls and poles are great material and the carry bag is good. Unfortunately mine did not come with the small tab to be able to attach poles to end arms so I am only able to use the walls through the middle sections where I can place it between poles.

I love these walls I have 3 already and will buy another.There great because you can put 1 up or the lot as they easily zip together . If I had my time again I would buy the full wall kit. But that’s just me

Amazing, but missing a piece.
