Torn, storm-damaged or worn out by years of sun? This is the factory replacement canvas for your awning, so you can keep the frame, headstock and arms you already have.


315gsm acrylic-treated polyester ripstop, treated against UV, mould and mildew. Canvas only: no arms, straps or bag. Left hand (passenger side in Australia) or right hand for the 270 XT Mk2 and 270 XT MAX Mk2 (Mk2 awnings only, not Mk1); one version for the 180 XT MAX.

Replacement Awning Canvas

The canvas takes the sun, rain, wind and branches so the rest of your awning doesn't have to. If yours has been torn, worn out by years of UV or damaged in a storm, replace it with the genuine canvas for your awning and keep the frame, headstock and arms you already have.

Choose your awning

Left hand means the awning is mounted on the passenger side of the vehicle in Australia; right hand is the driver's side.

Mk2 only: the 270 XT and 270 XT MAX canvases fit Mk2 awnings only. They don't fit Mk1 awnings.

Canvas only: the arms, headstock, tension straps and awning bag aren't included.

The same canvas the awning ships with

  • 315gsm (9.3 oz/yd²) acrylic-treated polyester ripstop canvas, cut from an ultra-wide roll so each awning has as few seams as possible: fewer stitch lines, fewer leak paths.
  • Tested to a waterhead of more than 1000mm (ISO 811:1981) and treated against UV, mould and mildew.
  • Triple-reinforced where the ends of the arms attach to the canvas, because that is where most awnings fail.
  • A 50mm (2in) strip of genuine Velcro® brand loop runs the entire length of the valance around the outside edge, ready for awning walls.

Before first use

Wet the canvas down thoroughly before its first trip. The core-spun thread swells and seals the stitch holes.
